Staying Relevant... Published Monthly
On Target...
Plan your work, and work your plan.
Sound advice, but sometimes easier said than done.
In order to stick to your plan, the best plan is to "plan to be flexible".
How Chaotic Is That?
Only as much as it's allowed to be.
Flexible doesn't mean to do "anything you feel like".
It simply means to take oportunities that come along that are otherwise missed.
Specifically, information found in the course of one area as it relates to another area.
When this occurs, it's best to follow it through before loosing your train of thought.
After it reaches an end, you can still go back to where you were and begin anew.
Expieriencing It Daily
In doing tree work, many names come up unexpectedly and by sheer co-
Many are normal, but at times there have been those that open doorways to more.

The "plan" here is to do things in several steps or phases.
With the large numbers involved in family tree building, a plan is imperative.
Deviating from a streamline course may mean never reaching the objective at all.
How Do We Combat That?
By staying the course as stated... Plan your work, and work your plan.
This has been the case here for several months, and a good amount of progress can be seen.
At times it seems difficult to wait for the higher tree numbers or certain ancestral lines.
Expierience shows that they do fill in eventually and sometimes with unexpecteded bonuses!
As the first phase comes quietly to an end, planning for the second stage is equally important.
Several "courses" are equally important, but must be completed systematically for the best results.
What Exactly Are These "Best Results"?
They can be cited as "accurate data in the form most compatable to user needs".
The way we arrive at that conclusion is to look for user input... Hence, "Question Of The Month".
To many it may seem like silly nonsense. Others will see it's importance.
Because, "it's important to decide what's importantant"...
Check The Family Tree Report and The Census Report for monthly updates-
For independant searches, verifying your findings or census reprints the Census CD's are recomended.
When you're ready to add the support to do your own verifying, purchase the census files on CD's.
Because verifying is the key to accuracy, and accuracy is what makes your tree valid.
Good luck, have fun and enjoy!
