For this site, that hope is simply the same as ever... More progress!
Excitement may wax and wane, but the course is crystal clear!
What Is This Course?
The "course" is the direction we hope to follow throught the year as the site "evolves".
Several outside factors are always a keystroke away from changing that, but it's the basic plan.
The courses followed for most family genealogy websites are basically the same with few exceptions.
Some of the more established sites may have additional ideas that can be included over time.
It's a natural order and sequence of events manifesting in the progressive culmination of data.-
What that means is, first things first. Starting too many ideas results in less available time for each.
The beginning of a new year can often be what signals the start of the changing of our priorities.
What Are These Changes?

It's a way of reminding ourselves to stick to the important issues and to forget about all else!
Listing these in an order of importance is is very important as opposed to mental imaging.
It serves to help keep things in more of a reality mode when assessing our abilities.
So here are the foremost items that are hoped to be the priorities for 2017!
Others may be added or a these may change. We must remain flexible!
The most critical of these is to develop a plan for faster release.
Criteria for release/posting is the verifying of collected data.
How Will This Help Users?
Publishing verifyable factual data in our tree will always be at the forefront of the website priorities.
Quick release of information is a priority hurdle that must be overcome-
By building user confidence both in the tree as well as themselves through Genealogy 101 Lessons:
Teaching independant skills frees users from "following" and allows them to "lead" themselves.
Helping the website meet more user needs in regards to the webtree and research pages.
Though human time is always at a premium, the website works 24/7 for you!
